Christine Mallory, a resident of Sound Beach has been the treasurer and director of music for the arts council for the past seven years. She attended Skidmore College and Stony Brook University, receiving a B.S. and M.S. in Business Management and Policy, with a concentration in the non-profit sector. She works part-time, offering business and financial services. Christine, in addition to planning the arts council's "in-house" music series, has added a series of two concerts per month at the Jefferson's Ferry retirement community, the "Concerto Takes Manhattan" series in Manhattan, and this summer is producing a small music series in Orient. She has also been a volunteer for the Long Island Philharmonic Orchestra for the past 18 years.
