Join us in welcoming the Smith Ventura Duo as they present their program, Guitarmania! Guitarmania is a guitar performance on the development of the acoustic guitar and its literature, beginning with the 16th century renaissance guitar through the 20th century Martin style dreadnought. Music will be performed on replica and modern instruments.

Carles Pons was born in Lleida and currently resides in Palencia. He is the artistic director of the Guitar Festival of Hondarribia-Peñíscola, the Guitar Festival of Palencia and the Guitar Festival of the Mediterranean, City of Melilla.
He has performed concerts in Spain, Bahrain, Turkey, Bulgaria, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Germany, France, Switzerland, Slovakia, the Republics of Serbia and Montenegro, Hungary, Monaco, Great Britain, Italy, USA, and Japan.
We are delighted to be able to present this world-class guitarist in a rare Long Island appearance.
